AKSA 2016 in Seattle!
Dear Association of Korean Sociologists in America (AKSA) members,
Greetings! We extend our invitations to our 2016 annual conference in Seattle on August 19, 2pm (Location: one of the ASA hotels, TBA)!
The theme of the 2016 annual conference is Family Changes in Korea and Their Implications for General Sociology of Family.
1. We will start with the business meeting (2:00-2:20 pm) to introduce AKSA officers, report 2015-16 activities, announce future plans, and present award winners.

The roundtable presentations will consist of five research areas (see below) and at least two AKSA members in each research area will facilitate discussions and professionalization. The roundtable event will consists of two components: (1) you are encouraged to discuss your own project(s) to receive feedback and discussion; and (2) we will have discussions and Q&A on professionalization-related topics including publication, CV and others (e.g., job market).
